She is a graphic designer currently based in Rotterdam, NL
studying at Willem de Kooning Academy.
In her projects she likes to combine photography/illustrations with text —
they vary from print, editorial, motion, digital, web design and more.
She enjoys learning new techniques, therefore you’ll usually see her working
towards creating something different than before.
Her work is often research based and inspired by different experiences —
observation of art and designs, music, nature, people and exposure to
different places in the world.
Publication which includes a collection of lenticular cards featuring designs inspired by
the fusion of two cultures which lie in the eastern Mediterranean Sea from a personal experience.
I used patterns from Cypriot traditional embroidery,
Greek-Cypriot words and letters, and designed icons using Ancient
Greek diacritics. Most elements in the cards are symbols from that experience.
Moreover, I experimented with creating Greek letters in the same design style that Clara Sambot used for her font called “Cirrus Cumulus”.
